was inspired to pursue a career in body work

after becoming intrigued with the human body and all it is capable of

through studying tae kwondo at an early age.

 

he earned his 1,000 hour certification in massage therapy

from the desert instute of the healing arts in 2004,

and went on to earn an additional 750 hour certification in zen shiatsu

in 2005.

 

after becoming licensed as a massage therapist,

timothy went on to work as an instructor at both

the desert institute and cortiva institute of the healing arts.

throughout his practice he has seen how massage can heal

not only physical pains and discomforts,

but mental and spirtual ones as well.

he has witnessed individuals with anxiety, migraines, and chronic back pain

heal and grow through mindful, centered, relaxing massage.

 

most recently, timothy has begun to explore physical fitness as a personal pursuit,

and he has brought his passion for it into his body work.

he has seen how massage can lead to even greater gains and benefits for health and fitness

than one can achieve though gym workouts alone.

in 2015, timothy graduated with from aveda institute tucson

with a 600 hour certificate from the school of esteology. 

he chose this program because of aveda's focus on combining

ancient healing practices with modern science 

and high-quality ingredients with proven manual techniques

to help skin heal and become more radiant.

 

timothy is a proud tucson native

and lives in the historic san gabriel district with his husband, ken, and their dogs, luca, oliver, and hugo.

he is wild about powerlifting, session yoga, and kids.
